You won’t believe it when you find out that one of the best blues bands not only in Europe but in the world comes from… Latvia. But it’s worth not only believing — it’s worth coming to see and hear them for yourself. Especially since this time they are returning with a brand-new program.

In the year 2000, Canadian blues star Johnny V recorded an album with Latvian blues musicians, followed by a concert tour in Canada — which marked the beginning of the band. Since then, the group has performed in numerous countries, not only across Europe but also in the United States as well as in Africa and Asia.

A particularly special honor for the band was the invitation to the Chicago Blues Festival, where Latvian Blues Band became the first European group in the festival’s history to perform on its stage. In 2009, the band won a blues competition in Germany, securing their place in the finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
