Kęstutis Vaiginis is one of the most prolific jazz artists in Lithuania. An ambitious saxophonist, he regularly performs with top-class jazz musicians from the United States, including Alex Sipiagin, Jonathan Blake, Dave Kikoski, Boris Kozlov, Donald Edwards, David Berkman, and many others. He is the initiator and leader of numerous international projects.
As both a bandleader and a featured guest artist, Vaiginis has appeared at some of the world’s most prestigious jazz festivals, including North Sea Jazz, and festivals in Rotterdam, London, Ottawa, Cape Town, Tokyo, Istanbul, Hong Kong, and beyond. He has toured extensively across Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa.

His discography includes seven albums as a leader, and his compositions have also been featured on several Lithuanian music compilations. Describing Vaiginis’s album Unexpected Choices, recorded with acclaimed New York musicians, renowned American saxophonist Steve Wilson wrote:
“His vision is subtle and provocative, rooted in respect for tradition yet always looking forward.”

At the age of 17 guitarist Shachar Elnatan took time away from school to travel to New York, where he studied with renowned musicians including Peter Bernstein, Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, and Ari Hoenig. From 2006 to 2013, he was a recipient of the Israeli–American Cultural Foundation (IACF) scholarship. In late 2012, he won the Rimon School of Music Jazz Competition, which led to an invitation to perform and participate in the International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) conference in Graz, Austria.
After touring internationally with various artists, Elnatan formed his own band. In 2014, he was approached by internationally acclaimed bassist and composer Avishai Cohen to record his group for Cohen’s curated compilation album All Original (Razdaz Recordz, 2014). The project aimed to document some of the most outstanding young Israeli jazz musicians, whom Cohen regarded as an essential part of the country’s evolving jazz scene.

Barański is a Grand Prix laureate of the 40th Jazz nad Odrą Festival. He also received the main prize at Swinging Raven during the 3rd Hot Jazz Spring in Częstochowa and the Jazz Angel Award at the Bielska Zadymka Festival in 2005. With the group Triology, he placed 4th at the International Jazz Band Contest Jazz Hoeilaart in Belgium.
He is a two-time Fryderyk Award (Polish Grammy) winner for the albums Assymetry by Zbigniew Namysłowski and Umiera piękno by Aga Zaryan. In 2015, he was nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the Jazz Artist of the Yearcategory. He has also won the Jazz Forum magazine readers’ poll for Best Double Bass Player in 2008, 2014, and 2015.

Péter Somos moves effortlessly across genres including jazz and world music, combining technical precision with deep musical sensitivity. He has worked and performed with internationally recognized artists such as: Paquito D’Rivera, Casey Benjamin, Emma Rawicz, Kinga Glyk
