21st Century Quintet – a progressive jazz music group consisting of five young, talented, and phenomenal members. They are very active and well-known in Lithuania’s cultural music scene, performing both in Lithuania and abroad. The group first came together in 2019 at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, initially accompanying drummer Mihails Novikovs during his exam, and later participating in the “Jazz Stage” competition organized by the Kaunas Jazz Festival. Since then, the quintet has actively performed at jazz festivals and concerts across the country.

Over its six years of activity, the quintet has performed at festivals such as Vilnius Jazz, Vilnius Mama Jazz, Elektrėnai’s Jazz Youth, the Klaipėda Castle Jazz Festival, Vievis Jazz Keys, the Utena Percussion and Jazz Festival, MO Museum Christmas, Nida Jazz Marathon, and has repeatedly played at Lithuania’s most famous jazz club Jazz Cellar 11. In 2024, the group reached the finals of the Euroradio Jazz Competition, which took place in Marseille. In 2025, their concert dedicated to National Jazz Day was broadcast by LRT Radio in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Armenia. The quintet has also performed at international jazz festivals, including Jazz Fest (Norway), Jazz’Chisinau (Moldova), and Guoyu pa Jazz (Latvia).

In March 2024, the quintet released their debut album titled On Ararat, inspired by Armenian folk music, progressive jazz, rock, fusion jazz, and blues elements. In 2025, the group released two singles: Footprints and Erzrumi Shoror.

The ensemble continues to create and search for its unique sound, actively performing both in Lithuania and abroad.
